MONSTER TRUCKS FEATURING BIG FOOT - AUGUST 23RD
The Salem Speedway will host a new event on Saturday, August 23rd, with the Full Throttle Monster Trucks featuring Bigfoot, who is celebrating their 50th Anniversary Season in 2025! Monster Trucks will make a return to the Figure 8 track as part of this event! The track will also have racing on the High Banks that evening with the Diesel Boys GAS Series and Mike’s Mufflers & Brakes Crown Vic Big Track Series. Full Throttle Monster Trucks features the Ohio Valleys best monster truck action, tough truck racing, and more!

MONON SOUTH TRAIL NOW OPEN
The Monon South Trail is a 57-mile walking and cycling trail between Mitchell and the Clark/Floyd County border that connects eight local communities in the Lawrence, Orange, Washington, and Clark Counties uplands region of southern Indiana. The greenway trail offers dramatic vistas of the Indiana farmland and linkages to several regional natural destinations, including nearby state parks and recreation facilities.

BIKE NIGHTS ON THE SALEM SQUARE
Visit the Historic Salem Square by bike and park your motorcycle on the East (shady) side of the square so everyone can get some shade after riding. There are a variety of shops and restaurants and things "to do" on the Salem Square. All motorcycles are welcome and a family friendly event. Schocke's Food Truck is scheduled to be onsite.

WASHINGTON CO FARMERS MARKET - SATURDAYS 8:30AM - 12:00PM
The Washington County Farmers Market has locally grown and produced veggies, honey, maple syrup, sorghum, farm-raised beef, pork & lamb, home-baked goods, baking & spice mixes, farm fresh cut flower arrangements, local art & more! The Washington County Farmers Market will open on Saturdays in the parking lot of the Washington County Justice Center located at 801 S. Jackson St in Salem, Indiana. When produce is more plentiful, the market will open on Tuesdays from 4:00PM - 6:00PM.

RACING AT THE SALEM SPEEDWAY
For over 65 years Salem Speedway has enjoyed the recognition of being one of the most unique and renowned racetracks in America. Salem is a track steeped in history with many of the giants in auto racing having competed on the treacherous “hills” at some point in their careers. Situated in the scenic hills of southern Indiana, the Salem Speedway roars to life with upwards of 12-15 “Special Events” per year.

CRUISE'N ON THE SALEM SQUARE - AUGUST 8TH
Visit the Salem Square on the 2nd Friday of the month during the warmer months for a walk around the square. Enjoy the classic cars, pickup trucks, hot rods, and muscle cars as they park around the courthouse. Exhibitors from across Southern Indiana will be glad to share the details of their wonderful automobiles with you. Cars will begin to line up at 5:00pm.

Featuring The Corydon Dulcimer Society playing at 11:30am, birthday cake provided by Walmart, spinning, blacksmithing and tomahawk throwing. Special adult admission of $2.17. GRIND XII MEMORIAL 5K RUN/WALK - SEPTEMBER 13TH
Register for the annual 5K Run/Walk at Historic Beck's Mill. The run/walk begins at 9:00am Runners will receive breakfast by Shady Patch as part of their entry fee. Entry information TBA, BBQ begins at 11 am and sponsored by Mt Carmel, Tyson and Walmart. A local Mustang Car Club will be displaying about 20 cars at 2:00pm.

BECK'S MILL OKTOBERFEST/CORNMEAL BAKE-OFF - OCTOBER 25TH
Celebrating the Beck German Heritage. Music all day, spinning, knitting, crocheting, blacksmithing, tomahawk throwing demonstrations. Parking lot activities: Featuring Jason Hardin’s campfire beans, Cornmeal bake off drop off at 11 am to 11:45 am. Entry must contain at least 1/2 cup of Becks Mill cornmeal (white or yellow), inc recipe and in a non returnable dish. Prize will be given. Cornmeal can be purchased at the mill or Nana’s This n That Shop on the square. Leftovers will be served with the campfire beans. Flea & craft vendors.
