Myotonic Mayhem

Washington County and the Washington County Goat Association invite you to this event. The Myotonic Goat show for the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR), will be held on September 11-12, 2026. They will be having a show on Friday evening, Sept 11 and then two shows on Saturday, Sept 12 at the fairgrounds. 

A myotonic goat, also widely known as a fainting goat or wooden-leg goat, is a unique American breed defined by a hereditary muscle condition called myotonia congenita. When startled or excited, their muscles lock up temporarily, often causing them to fall over while remaining fully conscious

The event will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
